  • How can you guarantee to be on-time when so many other tradesmen are late?

    Our job management system is integrated with satellite tracking systems to monitor punctuality and allow us to dispatch the closest technician in the event of an emergency. Our operating systems have been specifically developed, honed and improved to deliver punctual service 99.16% of the time, and we only employ people who hate tardiness as much as you do. Our team have a passion for punctuality. If we turn up late outside your promised service window, we will pay you $50!*

  • What is your method for pricing?

    We quote ‘By The Job’, and NOT ‘By The Hour’. All of our prices are fixed and come out of a Standardised Pricing Manual. That’s your assurance you are paying the same as everyone else no matter who they are or where they live. You know the full price before any work starts so there are no nasty surprises. When you are charged ‘By The Hour’, you are at the mercy of how fast the electrician works. If he’s not very efficient, you’ll end up paying more, and that’s simply not fair. We found that as soon as we started pricing ‘By The Job’ our technicians were able to do better quality work as they didn’t have the pressure of customers holding a stopwatch to them.

  • How trustworthy are your electricians?

    We employ only the very best in the business. Only 1 out of every 97 of those who apply actually qualifies to enter your home or workplace wearing the Sparkies Plus uniform. Our team go through an extensive selection of background checks (including criminal, drug & alcohol checks) before being hired. We only employ technicians you can trust with your house keys!

  • Where do you source your materials from?

    We strictly insist on using time-tested and field-tested quality Australian made parts and supplies where possible. There is a lot of cheap product coming from China these days that many electricians are using to improve their profit margins. The truth is, this cheap product simply doesn’t last in the harsh Australian environment and if you choose to have this stuff installed (whether you actually have a choice that is!), you’ll end up disappointed. Despite this cheap product costing less initially, you’ll end up paying more in the long run (in monetary terms, inconvenience and frustration).

  • If I thought of other work I needed done on short notice, can you do this while you're here?

    Sure thing! Because we quote fixed upfront prices ‘By The Job’ and NOT ‘By The Hour’, you will know the full price before any work starts so there are no nasty surprises. And best of all, because we are already on-site, you save the call-out fee and any additional work you request is done at a discount!

  • Do you hire subcontractors or are your team employed by the company?

    Our team are employed in-house on a full-time basis. This is your assurance of quality workmanship, professionalism and stringent quality control.

  • Can you supply things like light fittings and ceiling fans? Do you get a cheaper price?

    Yes, we can certainly help you there, however, there is often no price advantage in us supplying those things for you. Many lighting wholesalers and retail stores offer sales at prices cheaper than what we can buy the items for. Time your shopping well and you'll do well. However, if you're short on time, yes, for sure, we can supply lights and ceiling fans for you. For general electrical installation products (such as cable, power points and the like), it is best if we supply those as we'll get better prices.

  • Where are you based on the Sunshine Coast?

    We're based in the Buderim/Sippy Downs area so we're central and well placed to efficiently attend to your electrical repair or installation wherever you are on the Sunshine Coast QLD.

  • If something you repaired or installed stops working, what should I do?

    Simply call our friendly team on (07) 5408 4044 who will dispatch a technician to you in the quickest possible time. We have a lifetime warranty on our workmanship and believe in the mantra, ‘Done once, done right, or we make it right!’. Regardless of whether the item is covered by warranty or not, rest assured we’re here for you and won’t let you down.

  • How quickly can you come around?

    We have a strong team of electricians based in various locations across the Sunshine Coast ready to commence work. Our systems are integrated with GPS tracking, so we’re able to dispatch the electrician nearest to you for a fast response. We have a 97.6% ‘same day service record’, which speaks volumes of our intent to visit you the same day you call. We also have very flexible scheduling systems to suit your schedule. For some larger projects, we may need to reschedule the work for another day, however, you will always be kept informed of our arrival time backed by our legendary $50 cashback on-time guarantee.

  • What are your methods for payment?

    We can accept EFT (online bank transfers), cash, cheque, Visa, MasterCard or American Express. Payment is requested upon completion of services.

  • Do you work weekends and after hours?

    Our opening hours are 7:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday, and Saturday bookings by appointment only.

  • What is your hourly rate? How do you charge?

    We don't have an hourly rate. We price our services 'by the job' and not 'by the hour'. This way, you benefit as you won't be penalised and pay more if the job takes longer than expected or if we run into complications. On our side of the fence, when we charge you by the hour, we feel time-pressured to get the job done quickly - it means we could make mistakes and rush things so are less likely to spend the additional time necessary to carry out a 1st class job. When you know the full price upfront, you can relax because you'll immediately know the maximum price you'll pay so there are no nasty surprises. Our pricing structure is fair, competitive and in line with industry standards.

  • Do you offer free quotes?

    Yes, we sure do! Our quotes are free, upfront and with no obligation.


    No good decision is ever made under pressure. By giving free, no-obligation quotes, we empower our customers which enables them to take their time with their decision and gives them the ability to engage in a no-pressure conversation. We know that customers hate feeling pushed, so we remove the pressure from our conversations.

  • Do you charge a call out fee?

    No, we DON'T charge a call-out fee. It costs you nothing for us to drive out and visit you at your Sunshine Coast home or business to discuss and assess your electrical job. After which, we'll provide a free and no-obligation quote BEFORE any work starts, so there are no nasty surprises.

  • Do you work on white goods like washing machines, dryers and dishwashers?

    No, we don't sorry. Best to call an appliance repair company for those. However, we do repair and install ovens, cooktops and stoves. Let us know if we can help with those!

  • I only have a small electrical job to do. Is that okay?

    Don't sweat it! That's perfectly fine :) Actually, we really prefer small jobs anyway. With free quotes and no call out fee, small jobs are affordable and you won't be charged extra.
